Kamilla Omavuori (b. 1989) lives and works in Agder. She holds a BFA from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2015) and a MFA from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design (2017). Omavuori works with painting, sculpture, and analogue photography. Her works have been exhibited at, among others, the National Museum, the Norwegian Sculpture Society, Agder Kunstsenter, Kunstnerforbundet, the Preus Museum, CCCOD Tours, and Kunstnernes Hus. Omavuori’s works are held in the collections of the National Museum, the Preus Museum, and Sogn og Fjordane Art Museum.
For her upcoming solo exhibition at LNM, she is working with oil paintings on linen canvas, where structural composition and reduction meet intuitive processes.
